Hello!

I’m Paula, owner and entrepreneur of Okkola holiday cottages and restaurant Niinipuu. I have been living on this beautiful island surrounded by clean waters and changing seasons for 35 years. In my free time, I like picking mushrooms, baking and walking with my two dogs. Hosting is a way of life for me. I truly enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds, sharing my culture with guests and serving local food in our restaurant. I feel it is a privilege for me to be able to introduce my own lifestyle, Finland’s clean nature & food and our unique accommodations with my guests.
